It is an honor to share that Vidya was selected for the AWS Gen Ai Energy Lab. This Amazon program is an enterprise accelerator designed to spur co-innovation through partnerships and trials. Among over 800 applications, Vidya was selected for the Generative AI for Clean Energy.

The partnership between Amazon Web Services and Vidya was announced at the AWS Energy Symposium, taking place Aug. 13-14, 2024, in Houston, Texas. The conference united energy and utility leaders, partners, and startups aiming to forge the industry’s future by reinventing energy. This program allows us to accomplish our next step in Vidya’s platform roadmap: Integrating Generative AI into the technology stack.

What is Generative AI?

Generative AI, a branch of artificial intelligence, excels in producing content by learning from vast datasets and recognizing intricate patterns. One of its standout features is the ability to engage in dynamic question-answer interactions, where it can generate coherent, contextually relevant responses to user queries. Unlike traditional AI, which follows predefined rules, generative AI uses advanced algorithms such as deep learning models to generate creative solutions and simulate human-like creativity. By combining its grasp of syntax and semantics, generative AI can produce text that adheres to grammatical rules while conveying coherent and meaningful information. With Generative AI features, industries can:

  • Enhance user experiences through personalized content;
  • Reduce the time required for decision-making;
  • Deepen data analysis with real-time answers based on specific questions.

Knowing the inherent challenges of achieving net zero goals and aligning with global sustainability objectives, Vidya is proud to be selected as one of the responsible agents for leading the way in clean energy transition. As an industrial deeptech, innovation is within our DNA and we are ready to write this new chapter alongside AWS. We’re looking forward to the great opportunities ahead.
